<p>A method for pre-treating a fabric comprising the steps of: i) contacting the fabric with a bleach-containing, non-aqueous, heavy duty liquid detergent composition, and ii) subjecting the fabric and the non-aqueous detergent composition to microwaves for a sufficient period to effectively treat the fabric. The bleach-containing non-aqueous, heavy duty liquid detergent composition preferably comprises from about 55 % to 98.9 % by weight of the composition of a structured, surfactant-containing liquid phase, and from about 0.01 % to 54,9 % by weight of the composition of insoluble particulate material. The surfactant-containing liquid phase is formed by combining from about 1 % to 80 % by weight of the liquid phase of one or more non-aqueous organic diluents, and from about 20 % to 99 % by weight of the liquid phase of a surfactant system comprising surfactants selected from the group consisting of anionic, nonionic, cationic surfactants and combinations thereof.</p> |
