The center line of the pedal crank axis extends through the front wheel hub, and the steering axis (4) is significantly inclined. The bicycle may have a two-part fairing, with the front section following the steering deflection and the rear section stationary in relation to the rear frame. The line of separation between both parts of the fairing extends perpendicularly to the steering axis, and the fairing is formed so that this separation line describes a circle. At least one restoring element (8) stabilizes the steering.
