The electrical safety device includes a switching stage to isolate apparatus from mains with time module, electronic unit, movement sensor and contact. The electrical safety device is formed out of the switching stage for switching an apparatus on and off and a time module controlling the stage, to which an electronic unit (11) with a movement sensor influencing the switch-off time is assigned. An Independent claim is also included for an electrical safety device having a contact (120) that influences the switch-off time.
