<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a controller which can be manufactured at a low cost and can flexibly cope with a change in control method by realizing access control to a semiconductor device such as the flash EEPROM with a simple hardware configuration. SOLUTION: An I/O port 111 is configured so that the port 111 may be accessed from CPU 11 for reading and writing and coupled with each signal pin of a NAND type flash EEPROM 14. Since the value of each binary data written in the port 111 by means of the CPU 11 is directly supplied to the corresponding signal pins of the EEPROM 14 as the logical values H and L of the voltage of the signal pins, each bit value of write data, address, commands, etc., as well as the 'H' and 'L' states of various kinds of control signals can be controlled directly with software.</p> |
