PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a colored sintered compact having a reduced dielectric loss by adding a specific amount of Cr in terms of Cr2 O3 to a composition obtained by mixing a lithium silicate glass containing a specific weight ratio of Li2 O and CaO with a filler in a specific volume ratio. SOLUTION: This colored sintered compact is obtained by adding 0.05-10 pts.wt. Cr in terms of Cr2 O3 to 100 pts.wt. composition comprising 20-80 vol.% lithium silicate glass containing 2-15 wt.% Li2 O and 2-30 wt.% CaO, and 80-20 vol.% filler, compacting the added product and firing the compact. The colored sintered compact has <=2×10<-3> dielectric loss at 1 MHz frequency. The filler component is selected from alumina, silica, forsterite, mullite, etc. The color of the sintered compact can be changed among a green system, a red system, a blue system, a yellow system and a black system by allowing >=0.05 pt.wt. Cr in terms of Cr2 O3 , and <=10 pts.wt. one or more kind of Cu, V, Fe, Ni, Mn and Co in terms of oxides to be included therein. |
