Concrete element for sediment control

摘要

A steel reinforced concrete element which is linked to similar elements by shackles through metal hoops secured into the corners of the element. The structure is assembled into a mat of optimum shape and stabilises the sea walls, sea bed or any other areas where sediment collects. The open double ring shape forms an open structured mat for capturing sediment. The high steel content provides strength and weight to stabilise the mat in the selected position.
