The rear carrier has a base frame (1) with a screw (5) in each free end of the U (3), able to turn but fixed axially. The screw axis is perpendicular to the plane of the U arms and the screws serve as the lower fixing devices. The screws can fit in threaded borings in the bodywork.It may be possible, by engaging the screws in suitable threaded borings in the bodywork, to enable a towing hook or towing eye to be fitted to the rear of the vehicle.
