PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To discriminate whether a business office machine is accurately operated or not. SOLUTION: User setting of the business office machine like a copying machine is analyzed to discriminate that there is a problem in the business office machine. If user setting is frequently so set that it is deviated from default setting by a prescribed extent, default setting is improper and it is necessary to perform the processing like the change of parameters of the business office machine. After it is found that default setting is a problem, the business office machine communicates with a diagnosing service center by connectionless mode communication (562 to 566 and 570 to 580). If the problem of the business office machine cannot be resolved remotely, the diagnosing service center requests a service call (568 and 582). |
