PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent an IC card from destruction and alteration which may be generated before its use and to make it possible to easily check whether the IC card has been used or not by sticking a protection sheet to the IC card and forming a cutting part. SOLUTION: The IC card 1 is composed of hard polyvinyl chloride(PVC) resin and an IC chip 4 is built in the card 1. A surface having a contact terminal for externally connecting a base material of the card 1 is covered with a protection sheet 2. One of corner parts is cut to form a cutting part 3. The card 1 and the sheet 2 are mutually stuck by dry lamination polyester group adhesive. In the case of using an IC card for the first time, a user can use the IC card by breaking the cutting part 3 and peeling the sheet 2. The use of an IC card 1 from which the cutting part 3 or the sheet 2 is removed can easily be discriminated. |
