PICTURE PROCESSOR AND PICTURE PROCESSING METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a picture processor capable of preparing a picture whose original page image can easily be recognized by a simple processing. SOLUTION: A constituting element analyzing part 1 analyzes the constituting elements of picture data. A raster image preparing part 2 prepares a raster image from picture data. A reference picture preparing part 3 prepares a reference picture by converting the constituting elements into graphic elements based on the analyzed result of the constituting elements. A storage controlling part 4 stores the picture information of the raster image and the reference picture by making them correspond to each other. A reference picture instruction controlling part 5 calls picture information related with the reference picture from the storage controlling part 4. A display controlling part 6 allows a display device 7 to display the reference picture or the called picture information.
