Method of palletising necked containers

The method for packaging containers ie. bottles (2) involves gripping the containers at a storage site for the containers using handling grippers (8). It involves simultaneously depositing a divider (14) at the stacking station (6) using two further grippers (16). The first grippers are moved towards the stacking post while carrying the containers. The second grippers are moved back from the stacking station when empty to return to the divider supply post. The containers are deposited when the dividers are placed on the stacking station.
