<p>PURPOSE:To ensure secure carry-in and carry-out-of warehouse and facilitate operation at all times by performing combination operation of travel motion of a take-in and take-out device and ascent and descent motion and in and out motion in the lateral direction of a take-in and take-out tool by a controller and receiving and transferring cargo between target cargo storage space and cargo delivery place. CONSTITUTION:A take-in and take-out device 10 performs combination operation of travel motion on a certain path 11 and ascent and descent motion and in and out motion in the lateral direction of a take-in and take-out tool 16 and is able to receive and transfer a cargo 4 between a target cargo storage space 3 and a cargo receive base 6 at a cargo delivery place 5 due to reception and transmission of control signals between a controller on the ground side 24 and a controller on the travel side 17. When instruction is inputted into the controller 24, a worker stands in front of a door body 36, puts his/her hand in a recessed section 41, and takes a file for work 50 out of a storage device 45. Next, worker puts the file 50 on the surface of table 40A and opens a target page.
