<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an undercoated polymer film (film base) having improved adhesion characteristics by undercoating the polymer film or sheet with the material manufactured from an inexpensive and easily available substance. SOLUTION: A film base forms a polymer film surface and has a polymer which is selected from among a polyester, a polyolefin, and a polyamide, and a primer coating with strengthened adhesion contg. (a) a copolymer contg. functionalizedα-olefin and (b) a crosslinking agent selected from the group consisting of an amino formaldehyde resin, a multi-valent metal salt, an isocyanate, a blocked isocyanate, an epoxy resin, and a multifunctional aziridine. The adhesion-strengthening primer coating is coated on the polymer film surface and is reacted at a high temp with the new polymer film surface formed while it is mono- or bi-axially oriented and heat set.</p> |
