Each of several tanks (2) containing treatment fluid has a conveyor (1) which carries the emulsion carriers through the treatment fluid in the tank. Each conveyor unit is directly connected by a connection to a main drive mechanism. An extra release undoes the connection between the main drive and the conveyor unit when operated. The release is in the form of a worm gear (11) pretensioned by a spring (10) in a disengaged position. The worm gear is connected to an intermediate wheel (7).
