PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emulsion composition particularly as a milky lotion or liquid cosmetic of high viscosity, readily spreadable to fit the skin and give moistened and smooth feeling without stickiness. SOLUTION: This emulsion composition comprises 2-10wt.% of a straightchain dimethylpolysiloxane with a viscosity of <=500cs at room temperature and 0.1-3wt.% of a water-insoluble and oil-insoluble spherical powder with an average particle size of 2-30μm.
