<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a carriage fitted with a collision preventing device which eliminates the need for both carriages to stop at a confluence point or intersection by securing a safe distance between the carriages only by one device. SOLUTION: Of the carriage fitted with the collision preventing device, the collision preventing device is equipped with a transmitting coil 1, a receiving coil 2, a transmitting and receiving circuit 3 having a receiving circuit 5 which processes the signal from the receiving coil and outputs a driving stop signal and a transmitting circuit 4 which sends a sent signal to the transmitting coil, and a timing circuit 7 which outputs a timing signal to the receiving circuit and transmitting circuit. The receiving circuit 5 has a self-diagnosing function which detects its transmission output and removes an output-reduced transmission output from the detection signal, compares the remaining detection signal with a reference signal, and outputs a device abnormality signal when the detection signal is relatively low. The timing circuit 7 has a means which modulates transmission cycles and reception cycles at random.</p> |
