PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a powder of konjak by drying a powder of raw devil tongue in the state of fine particles containing a some amount of water of a prescribed water content, thus facilitating dieting with pleasant defecation, preventing the sugar from rapid incorporation into blood, when it is eaten together with sugar and/or starch, and useful in health. SOLUTION: Raw powder of konjak is dried in the state of fine particles and containing a some amount of moisture at 50-120 deg.C and the water content is adjusted to 15-300wt.% based on the raw konjak powder. The particle size of the konjak powder is preferably set to less than 5 mesh. |
