The invention relates to a self-supporting bulkhead that can be constructed from fire barrier coffers for vessels and offshore installations. The said bulkhead is intended, in particular, for high-speed vessels. The bulkhead comprises a framework structure and a fire barrier arranged on one side of the framework structure. The framework structure is composed of a whole corrugated plate 1, fixed to the framework structure of the vessel, and the fire barrier is assembled from rigid coffers 2 comprising a frame surrounding all edges of the coffers and a fire barrier arranged inside the frame. The fire barrier coffers 2 are fixed to the framework structure by means of fixing devices 4 in such a way that the fixing points are situated on the ridges of the plate 1 lying opposite the coffers, an air gap being formed in the corrugations of the plate. <IMAGE>
