Gear shift device for vehicles with tip-up cab

A shift lever part connected to a hand shift part is swivel mounted on the bottom of a tip-up driver cab and is kinematically connected to a remote selector shaft through an additional ball joint (9) and rod coupling formed with detachable joint halves (12,13) which can be mutually aligned by a cable pulley (14) which passes through a central guide passage (15) of one half (13) of the joint, with one end (16) fixed on a central point (17) of the other joint half, and its other end connected to the end of the tensile spring associated with the other joint half. One end of the cable pulley can be fixed on a cable drum which can be driven in one rotary direction against the resetting action of a coil spring forming the tensile spring. The cable pulley is guided over a guide pulley (20).
