PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a transparent medium which can quickly absorb an ink, from which the ink is hardly removed when water is poured on it after the ink is absorbed by an ink accepting layer, having high glossiness of surface, capable of recording by a color ink jet printer, and capable of high quality and grade recording. SOLUTION: In this ink jet recording film having on a base material film an ink accepting layer which contains an ink absorbing resin, a curing agent, and a surface-active agent, each drying time of cyan, magenta, yellow, and black inks when printing is performed by an ink jet printer is 50sec. or shorter, a water immersion density retention is 30% or higher, a surface gloss of the ink accepting layer is 55% or higher, and a light transmittance exceeds 60%. |
