PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a toner supply device which can prevent scattering of toner securely when a toner cartridge is replaced. SOLUTION: When a toner cartridge is pulled out, the engagement of a shutter member 250 with an engagement projection 410 of a guide tray 310 of a toner supply device body 300 is released after a flange 203 of a toner cartridge body is engaged with the shutter member 250. As a result, it is possible to pull out the toner cartridge only under a condition where an opening for dropping toner is blocked by the shutter member 250.
