<p>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce burden on a maintenance personnel and to carry out inspection and maintenance of equipment accurately and exactly by transmitting a measuring signal from a sensor for detecting information of the equipment together with identifying information and collecting data by a portable data collection means. SOLUTION: A response transmission means TG is mounted on equipment and has a transmitting function to transmit a measuring signal from a sensor to the side of a data collection means DC together with identifying information of the equipment. The means DC is carried by a maintenance personnel one-handed, for instance, and has a function to collect data from the means TG by a wireless communication with the means TG and store it temporarily. Then, the distance between the means TG and the DC is set within a range that allows the reaching of a microwave and a starting switch 14 of the means DC is turned on. When a starting circuit 22 of the means TG discriminates the coincidence of an identifying address, power is supplied to a transmitting/receiving circuit 23 to be ready for operation. The circuit 23 interprets the contents of a starting signal received to read necessary data out of a memory 25 according to a command to be transmitted to the side of the means DC together with the identifying address.</p> |
