PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a photovoltaic generator of a structure, wherein many cells, which can be connected with each other in series and are insulated from each other, can be produced easily using the existing highly reliable manufacturing device and technique. SOLUTION: Each photovoltaic cell has respective tab, insulated from the cell itself. A photovoltaic device has an oxide layer 12 between device layers 11 and a handle wafer 14, and at the same time has the layers 11 and the handle wafer 14, which are coupled with each other through the layer 12, and each tab insulated from the cell itself is formed in each device layer 11. The individual tabs are insulated from each other through each isolation part. Each tab is formed on an N<-> -body having a P<+> -shallow diffused part 21 and each contact strip 70 is connected with an N<+> -contact part 26, which is adjacent to a P<+> - diffused part 20 in one tab, of the tab adjacent to the one tab. Thereby, the photovoltaic cells formed on the tabs are connected with each other in series. |
