METHOD FOR ARRANGEMENT OF CURSOR AND DATA-PROCESSING SYSTEM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a GUI for allowing a user to quickly position a cursor without necessarily enlarging a cursor size. SOLUTION: A cursor 218 displayed on a monitor by a data processing system is automatically moved to a preliminarily selected position called a parking area 291 on a desktop 200 when it is in an inactive state for a prescribed time. When window focus depends on a cursor position, the parking area 291 is arranged in a designated window.
