<p>PURPOSE: To reduce the scale of hardware and to improve reliability in a device realizing a terminal adapter and a line connection device with one device. CONSTITUTION: In the line connection device connecting LAN products with a domestic network, a terminal adapter function part 1 converts the interface signal 1A of a point R from a user-side into an intra-device signal 1BD, converts an intra-device signal 2BD into the interface signal 2E of the point R and outputs them to the user-side. A line connection device function part 2 converts the intra-device signal 1BD from the terminal adapter function part 1 into the interface signal 1E of a point U, transmits it to a transmission line-side, converts the interface signal 2A of the point U into the intra-device signal 2BD and outputs it. A selector part 3 is equivalent to a point T and provided with a switch pulling an upward signal and a downward signal into a monitor terminal 10A for switching for executing monitoring and conducting a test and is provided with a switch changing over the upward signal and the downward signal for inserting a test signal from a monitor terminal 10B.</p> |
