CATHETER FOR VASCULAR CAVITY DILATION

PURPOSE: To obtain a catheter for vascular cavity dilation which assure the safe execution of a dilation plastic operation over a long period of time by constituting this catheter in such a manner that the diameter of a spiral body for vascular cavity dilation at the front end is dilated by inserting the catheter into the vascular cavity and rotationally operating a part for rotation. CONSTITUTION: This catheter X1 for vascular cavity dilation is inserted into the vital vascular cavity and the spiral body 30 for vascular cavity dilation arranged and mounted in front of the front end of the catheter body 10 is made to arrive at the constricted part of the vital vascular cavity. A rear end 12 which is the operator side of the catheter body 10 is then clamped by one hand and a vane plate 41 for rotation of the part 40 for rotation is clamped by the other hand. The vane part 41 for rotation is rotated in a direction where the diameter of the spiral body 30 for vascular cavity dilation is dilated. This rotating force is transmitted to the front end 31 and rear end of the spiral body 30 for vascular cavity dilation via the catheter body 10 and a wire 20 for transmitting the rotating power. The diameter of the spiral body 30 for vascular cavity dilation is thereby dilated and the constricted part in the vital cavity is dilated.
