PURPOSE: To provide an image-receiving for thermal transfer ink generating no fading even in the case of the long-term irradiation with ultraviolet rays by adding ultrafine particles with a particle size of a specific value or less to the image receiving layer of the image receiving sheet and adding an ultraviolet absorber to a resin layer, and a label-printing cassette using the same. CONSTITUTION: An image-receiving sheet 3a for thermal transfer ink is constituted of the color layer 3 on the single surface of a base material sheet 4, the resin layer 2 formed on the surface on the side opposite to the sheet 4 of the layer 3, the image receiving layer 1 formed on the surface on the side opposite to the color layer 3 of the layer 2, the self-adhesive layer 5 formed on the other surface of the base material sheet 4 and the separator 6 covering the layer 5. Ultrafine particles 3 with a particle size of 100nm or less are added to the image receiving layer 1 and an ultraviolet absorber is added to the resin layer 2. This sheet 3a is incorporated in a cassette along with a thermal transfer ink ribbon 4a. Since the ultrafine particles are added to the image receiving layer 1 and the ultraviolet absorber is added to the resin layer 2, the fading of the color layer 3 is suppressed. Since the sheet 3a is equipped with the self-adhesive layer 5 and the separator 6, the sheet 3a can be easily bonded to a desired place by peeling the separator 6. |
