PURPOSE: To enable the reading of only bar codes separately provided by the group in a carrier to collect article having individual bar codes readable by a machine into one. CONSTITUTION: A substantially transparent carrier 24 having a plurality of bands 25 to support various articles, for example, a bottle 20, is formed of a plastic material containing a chemical blocking agent of a specified quantity. A bar code reading machine can not read an individual bar code 34 by covering at least a part of the individual bar codes 34 by the band 25, but reads only bar codes 38 provided by the group. The carrier 24 is substantially transparent and does not make patterns or sentences 32 invisible. |
