FIELD STRENGTH MARGIN TESTER

PURPOSE:To obtain a field strength margin tester in which the test can be carries out quite easily without incorporating any special electronic circuit while reducing the cost and space. CONSTITUTION:A transmitter 10a incorporating an antenna 12 fixed to a wall 11 is surrounded by a shield 13 comprising a radio wave absorber, a radio wave reflector (metal), or a combination thereof. The shield 13 absorbs or reflects the energy of radio wave radiated from the antenna 12 thus attenuating the strength of transmitted or received field. A receiver 10b receives the radio wave radiated from the transmitter 10a and attenuated through the shield 13 and an incorporated field strength meter measures the field strength.
