摘要 PURPOSE:To easily perform forced operation of an air bag device in its mounted state on a vehicle in the case of cassation a vehicle, etc., in a sensor for an occupant protection device of mechanical ignition type. CONSTITUTION:In a vehicle abrupt deceleration time when an air bag device should be operated, a ball 34 receives inertial force so as to move from the first position to the second position against energizing force of a bias spring 60. In the second position, an engagement part 68 of a trigger is detached from a level difference part 70, a firing pin 38 is collided with a detonator 22 so as to ignite the detonator 22, and the air bag device is operated by ignition of the detonator 22. The air bag device is forcedly operated before cassation of a vehicle, etc. Namely, air pressure is supplied in an inlet 100. The ball 34 moves from the first position to the second position against energizing force of the bias spring 60 and the energizing movement of the firing pin 38 is allowed so that the air bag device is operated in the same way as the vehicle abrupt deceleration time when the air bag device should be operated.
