COATING RESIN COMPOSITION

A coating resin composition of nonaqueous dispersion type comprising: (A) an organic solvent mainly comprising an aliphatic hydrocarbon, (B) an acrylate polymer soluble in the solvent (A) and containing 0.2-30 wt.% of repeating units represented by general formula (I), wherein R<1> represents hydrogen or methyl; m represents an integer of 3 to 11; and n represents a number of 1 to 10, and (C) fine polymer particles substantially insoluble in the solvent (A), being excellent in pigment dispersion and adhesion to the surfaces of various base materials, capable of providing a high solid content and thick coating, and capable of forming a coating film having good properties such as resistances to water, alkali and weathering.
