A wheelchair mounted walking aid stowage device comprising a cuplike receptacle 21 , a resilient U-shaped clip 22 and a U-shaped clamp 24. The clamp 24 is positioned on a handlebar of the wheelchair forward of the handgrip as shown. A fixing screw (not shown) projects through a hole provided in the clamp near the open end thereof, the threaded end of the screw being received by an internally threaded insert held in a recess at the base of the clip 22, the screw acting as a stub axel about which the clip can rotate. Tightening the screw secures the clamp 24 on the handlebar while also securing the clip 22 at the required angle of rotation. The cuplike receptacle 21 has provided at the lower end thereof an integral clamp 23 by which means the receptacle is secured upon the footpeg as shown. |
