<p>PURPOSE:To provide a dissimilar metal contact preventing-type pipe joint, having respective members having simple structures, having a low cost, and having highly efficient insulating properties. CONSTITUTION:A pipe joint is provided with a joint main body 3 provided with an internal thread part 4 for a pipe to be connected on an end part opening part 3a, and a resin-made anticorrosive core 5 provided with a cylindrical part 5a for forming an annular clearance part 15 into which the pipe to be connected is fitted between it and the internal thread part 4. A cylindrical insert part is provided inside the joint main body 3. An annular clearance is provided between the outer peripheral surface of the insert part and the inner peripheral surface of the joint main body 3. The rubber layer R to be formed by vulcanize- baking, and having electrical insulating properties is interposed into the clearance S. The inner end surface of the insert part is brought in close contact with the inner end surface 7 of the resin-made anticorrosive core 5. A recessed groove 20 in the circumterential direction is provided on the outer peripheral surface on the inner end of the insert part 8, and a ring-like seal member 22 having electrical insulating properties is fitted into the recessed groove 20.</p> |
