<p>PURPOSE: To detect an input current by dividing the input current into a plurality of continuity means, a providing a mutual connecting means between both the continuity means, and providing a magnetic coupling thereto for detecting the current passing therethrough by means of a detecting means. CONSTITUTION: A first continuityl means 13 is made up of conductor 12, 14 having resistance values R1, R2 respectively, and a second continuity means 15 is made up of conductors 16, 18 having resistance values R3, R4 respectively. The mutual connecting means or the central conductor 20 has a resistance value Rc, and the terminal part 22 between the conductors 12 and 14 is connected with the terminal part 24 between the conductors 16 and 18. When the resistance values R1, R4 are selected and determined so as to be greatly larger than the resistance values R2, R3, the current Ic of the conductor 20 is proportional to the input current IIN and the ratio thereof is as shown in the expression. The ferrite-made toroidal magnetic core 26 of a detecting means 11 is excited by a current lc and the changing speed of magnetomotive force is detected by a feedback secondary winding, detecting secondary winding, amplification circuit, or the like. The output signal IOUT is proportinal to the current Ic, and accordingly is proportional to the current IIN.</p> |
