PURPOSE:To inhibit the oxidation of a cut part at the time of cutting with laser light, to inhibit the generation and sticking of a melted or decomposed substance by accelerating thermal decomposition and to obtain an optical card with a sharp cut part. CONSTITUTION:An optical recording layer 2, an adhesive layer 3 and a supporting substrate 4 are successively laminated on the formed rugged preformat of a transparent substrate 1 and the resultant laminated sheet of a larger work size than the size of a card is cut with CO2 laser light 7 to obtain an optical card. At this time, an antioxidant is added to the supporting substrate 4 or a substance having the max. absorption at about 1,000nm wavelength is added to the substrate 4. A further enhanced effect is produced by adding the substance having the max. absorption at about 1,000nm wavelength as well as the antioxidant to the substrate 4. |
