The air conditioner has a bundle of smooth tubes (1) extending through, and welded at their ends to, water tanks (2). Ventilation fans (4) can be mounted, between the ceiling of the enclosure and the tube bundle, on a casing (5). The latter can be mounted at an angle.The casing can be formed of smooth sheet material folded so that all of its angles face toward the exterior.
