摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the longer life of photoreceptor in which a synthetic resin binder is used in the photosensitive layer, to realize a resource-saving image forming system which is good for the global environment, and to apply this method for an electrophotographic image forming system such as a printer and copying machine. CONSTITUTION:This electrophotographic photoreceptor is used for such an electrophotographic method that a transfer paper is supplied to a rotating photoreceptor and a toner image formed on the photoreceptor is transferred to the paper to form an image on the transfer paper. The photoreceptor has a photosensitive layer containing a photosensitive material dispersed and held in a synthetic resin formed on the surface of a conductive base body. The initial total film thickness of the photosensitive layer is 10-30mum. When images are formed with a 30-mm diameter cylindrical photoreceptor, the film wear rate of the photosensitive layer is <=1.5mum/38000 rounds of the photoreceptor. The max. projection present on the surface of the conductive base body has <=3mum height from its bottom to the top. This electrophotographic photoreceptor is used for the image forming method.
