PURPOSE:To perform conversion without generating the change of the conversion field by setting the level to convert the HIRAGANA (cursive form of Japanese syllabary) reading string and converting a conversion candidate in the conversion field judged according to the setting level with the priority as the prescribed character string. CONSTITUTION:In an exclusive fixed reading memory ROM, the fixed data of a KANA/KANJI conversion dictionary, field dictionary with the field information of each word of the dictionary, and KANJI level dictionary with the learning level information of each KANJI are stored. In a writable RAM, the inputted reading string are stored. When the HIRAGANA reading string inputted from a keyboard KB is converted by the KANA/KANJI conversion dictionary, the conversion level is set and it is automatically judged to be the prescribed conversion field by the field dictionary according to the set conversion level. The inputted HIRAGANA reading string is converted by giving the priority to the conversion candidate in the conversion field as the prescribed character string. Thus, the change of the field of the document does not affect on the variability of the conversion field. |
