摘要 |
PURPOSE:To improve storage stability by forming a thermal recording material by successively laminating an intermediate layer containing a hollow filler and a thermal color leuco dye and a specific coupler on a support. CONSTITUTION:A thermal recording material is formed by successively laminating an intermediate layer containing a hollow filler and a thermal color forming layer based on a leuco dye represented by formula I (wherein R<1> and R<2> are an alkyl group) and a coupler represented by formula II (wherein R<1>-R<3> are a lower alkyl group or a cycloalkyl group) allowing the leuco dye to develop a color at the time of heating on a support. 4,4'-thiobis(6-t-butyl-3-methylphenol) can be further added to the intermediate layer. The obtained thermal recording material has high sensitivity and excellent storage stability (especially, background fog resistance). |
