A floor covering comprises a mixture of ethylene copolymers, one of which is silane-grafted. The copolymers may comprise units of an ester of a saturated or unsaturated acid (e.g. vinyl acetate), and units of an unsaturated acid and carbon monoxide or sulphur dioxide. Preferably, The silane graft density is one graft per about 100 carbons to one graft per about 5,000 carbons. The preferred EVA has about 18% to about 28% vinyl acetate.
