The ridging plough is constructed on a support chassis (2), suitable to be drawn behind a tractor (3). The chassis carries a forward transverse bar (7), which carries the plough share (11), to form the furrow. A second transverse bar (8) is carried towards the rear of the frame. The rear transverse bar carries two ridging disks (12 & 13). The horizontal axes of the disks are inclined so as to diverge, with reference to the central axis of the chassis. The spacing between the disks is determined by the size of the ridge required.
