<p>Process for determining the capillary pressure curve for two immiscible non-reactive fluids in a porous medium by measuring the distribution of the fluids after centrifuging cylindrical samples at various speeds which comprises: a) centrifuging the sample saturated with the first fluid and immersed in the second fluid which is immiscible with the first, b) measuring the saturation of the fluids along the sample by local Nuclear Magnetic Resonance measurements (NMR imaging or MRI), c) correlating the local saturation value so determined with the corresponding capillary pressure determined on the basis of the distance from the centre of rotation for each centrifuging speed used.</p> |
