PURPOSE:To realize avoidance of occurrence of a hit due to line interruption by securing the reliability of an optical transmission line and realizing the optical receiver with high reliability at a low cost. CONSTITUTION:An optical transmission section 5 of a multiplex transmission section 3 is provided with a means converting plural transmitted electric signals into optical signals with a different wavelength and a multiplexer section 6 is provided with a means multiplexing an optical signal and sending the multiplexed signal so that an optical signal of the same wavelength as that of the optical signal affected by line interruption at least on the occurrence of line interruption is sent through other line. Furthermore, a demultiplexer section 7 in a reception demultiplexer section 4 is provided with a means demultiplexing the received multiplexed signal and an optical reception section 8 is provided with a means converting the optical signal into an electric signal. |
