<p>PURPOSE:To position an LED head so as to be spaced equidistantly from the surface of a photosensitive drum over the longitudinal length of the LED head. CONSTITUTION:In a positioning mechanism of an LED head 1 wherein the LED head 1 is disposed so as to be spaced in a predetermined distance from a photosensitive drum 2, there are provided push members 5 for urging the opposite ends of the head 1 against the drum 2 and spacers 6 which are interposed between the head 1 and the drum 2 to hold the distance between both of the head and drum at a predetermined distance when the members 5 push the head 1. Further, each of the spacers 6 is disposed just below each of the push members 5 in such a manner that the acting point at which each of the push means 5 pushes the LED head 1 and the acting point at which each of the spacers 6 pushes the drum 2 upon receipt of the pushing force of the push means 5 are positioned approximately on the same axis.</p> |
