An ordering and billing equipment has at least one mobile input and output device (30) to receive and bill services provided. The device (30) is connected to a processor unit (12) for storing and further processing data exchanged with the input and output device (30). A bill for services to be billed is issued by an output unit (14) that may be controlled by the processor unit (12) and each service provided is listed in the bill as a clearly identified individual item. The input and output device (30) can select and assemble all individual items of the bill into entries to be separately billed and indicates the price to be paid for each entry. Each item is obliterated after it is selected a first time and a checking function checks wether all items have been obliterated. The result of the check is displayed by a generated signal.
