PURPOSE: To obtain a foam having a smooth surface, a uniform small cell size and a min. number of ruptured cell walls by using a mixing/distributing device consisting of a mixing zone with a specific length having a plurality of stationary mixer elements arranged therein and a nozzle having an exit orifice of which the diameter has a specific size or less. CONSTITUTION: For example, in the case of a two-pack type, respective compsns. are transferred from storage containers 10, 11 by a pump 12 and mixed in a stationary mixer 20 through a flow rate control manifold 13 and a metering manifold 18. This static mixer 20 is formed so that the length/diameter ratio thereof is set to at least 11 or more. The uniformly mixed compsn. enters an exit zone 21 and the diameter of the exit orifice provided to this zone is set to 1.50 mm or less. At least eight kenics type static mixing element is provided in the mixing zone and the length/diameter ratio thereof is set to 11-35 and it is pref. to provide an exit orifice with a diameter of 0.7-1.5 mm to an exit zone 21 having a cylindrical part with a diameter of 0.4-1.5 cm.
