PURPOSE:To provide a driver for DC brushless motor in which the silence is enhanced. CONSTITUTION:A resistor Ru for detecting phase current is connected between the sources of transistors Q4, Q5 and a resistor Rw is connected between the sources of transistors Q5, Q6. Terminal voltages of the resistors Ru, Rw are fed to sample & hold circuits 47, 48. A pattern generating circuit 39 generates drive signals Vu, Vw based on a signal detected by a pole detection element 37 and then generates signals for driving the transistors Q1-Q6 in an inverter circuit 67 based on the terminal voltages of the resistors Ru, Rw and the drive signals Vu, Vw. |
