Upon raising or lowering a roof structure (1) in the assembled state, the degree of stability and safety can be increased and the outlay in terms of production and operation can be kept within limits in that the roof structure (1) has installed in it auxiliary purlins (30, 31) which run in the longitudinal direction of said roof structure before the vertical position thereof has changed and via which the lifting forces can be transmitted to the roof structure (1). <IMAGE>
