<p>A method of assaying ionized calcium characterized by conducting an enzymatic reaction in a buffer comprising a nitrogenous heterocyclic sulfonic acid or a salt thereof in a pH range of 6.6 to 7.6 in the quantitative determination of calcium present in a specimen with a phospholipase. This method enables an accurate asssay of ionized calcium present in a specimen such as serum.</p> |
