<p>A method and an arrangement for pre-pressing a formed mat of disintegrated lignocellulose-containing fiber material prior to finishing pressing at continuous manufacture of board. After the forming to a mat with subsequent first compression and expansion, the mat is introduced between two endless unheated belts (12) for successive compression in an inlet portion (7), pressing between nip rolls (8) and controlled restricted expansion in a delivery portion (9). The delivery portion (9) is provided for direct transfer of the mat to the finishing press.</p> |
